NSW Laser Training - Masters (35+)
Location: Woollahra Sailing Club
Date: Saturday 4 February:
Coaches: Ash Brunning and Gabrielle King
Time: 10am - 4pm
Cost: Just $50! Thanks to subsidy from Yachting NSW and the NSW & ACT Laser Class Association.
For: Masters 35+ sailing Laser 4.7, Radial or Standard – Max 6 sailors per c
 
Centennial Coal Youthsail Lake Macquarie
Sunday March 11th 2012
Wangi RSL Amateur Sailing Club (WASC) is running the Centennial Coal sponsored Youthsail Lake Macquarie on Sunday 11th March.
Entry is $10 and is open to sailors under 19 years of age at 31/12/2012. Beach entries accepted between 9am and 10am on 11/3/2012 at WASC
Classes are:
Division 1 Junior (VYC Yardstick > 150)
Incl Sabots, MJs, Pelicans & O
 
If you are considering a late entry for the World Masters at RQYS 9 to 17th March 2012 applications will be open from midnight UK time on 25th January (11.00am 26th January AEDST). Late entries will close 23:59:59 UK time on 14th February 2012.

Australia has been allocated 115 places for the event.

NBsailsports are organising transport on their trailer to the Masters Nationals and Worlds.
Places will be on a 1st come 1st served basis.
There are 2 options:
Transport from our Somersby shop - $300 return
Transport from MHASC or DBSC - $380 return
We will book our 1st trip out and then put people on a waiting list until we have enough to justify a 2nd trip.
At the moment we only plan on doing a trip befor

Message from Jeff Martin ILCA Secretary
At the recent World Council meeting the Council unanimously agreed to introduce a 4.7 category at the 2012 Masters World Championship.
The category will be open to male and female sailors from all age categories. The entry for the 4.7 category will be open instead of allocated by country. This means that 4.7 entries will be in addition to the allocation of places for the Laser Standard and Laser Radial and with
 
Hugh Leicester ILCA Vice President and our Asia Pacific Chairman advises that It has been agreed to have a 4.7 division in the 2012 World Masters in Brisbane.
The original NoR was published without the 4.7's and this is now being rectified.
 
The 2012 World Laser 4.7 Youth, World Laser Standard Junior Under 21 and World Laser Masters Championships are now open to receive applications for entry..
